Funny Valentine

I'm a party pug! A few weeks ago was Valentine's Day. I did not know what that was because I had never had one before. Mom said she hates Valentine's Day, but I don't know why. It seems to me there are lots of treats and pretty things that day. Since it was my first, Mom wanted me to be able to celebrate so she took me to a party at Generation Dog - my favorite doggy boutique. They are always so nice to me.

There were lots of other dogs there and treats, treats and more treats! It was great! Plus Mom bought me this party collar to show how much she loves me. See?!?!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Ok - it's only Monday, but Mom says if we were in Mobile right now she would be walking me around downtown to see the sights and sniff the smells of Mardi Gras. Snort, we're not in Mobile - we're stuck in Birmingham - so Mom made the best of the situation and threw a Joe Cain Day Mardi Gras brunch yesterday.

We had a big time - I'll post some pics of my girlfriends who came over to see me, but for now there is just this picture that my Mom took while putting off cooking and cleaning Saturday night.
