Thank Goodness It's Monday!

Hey there pugs and peoples! I's never been so happy for Monday to gets here! My weekend was so tiring for a pug! Not enough nap-time!

My mom and my friend J had a "yard sale". No, they weren't selling the yard... that's what I thought too.... they puts lots of stuff in the yard and in our front room and then strange people came over and took it home. Mom says they had to pay for the stuff, but I dunno. Alls I know is I saw lots of peoples, lots of peoples petted me but I didn't get any naps!

When all the peoples finally left and I tried to get some much-needed sleep, the Mom put me in the car and took me to get a bath. A bath!!!! Can you believes that? I could hardly stands up I was so tired and she takes me for a bath.

Well, on the way home I told her that was not nice. I said, Momma... that was not nice!



I's not happy! I's sleepy!



So, we wents home and took a nap. Here's me and the Midi ready for Mom to gets in the bed.



After our nap we moved to the sofa, where I napped some more.

Love Sick

I's sleeping in today cause I was up all night not feeling good. I finally threw up and that made feel some better (Mom needed to wash the duvet anyway). Turns out maybe I was sick because my little Pearlie-poo was sick. I love her so much that maybe I was having sympathy tummy problems.



Please say a prayer or do what you do to send good thoughts her way. My little Pearlie-poo is having bladder problems and they's operating on her now. Let her Mom know you's thinking about her too.

Today we wants to thank all our pug bloggie friends for two reasons.

1. Mom's been going through some rough stuff and she told you all abouts it and you have all been so nice to my Mom!!! We really appreciates it. She says to tell you that things may work out OK. We's gonna try to stay here - even if it means searching for a new roommate. I hopes they likes puggies!

2. I's gonna be a calendar pug again! We just looked at SEPRA's website and the result are in. I's gonna be in the calendar! Looks like the contest rasied over $6,000 for pug rescue, so thanks everyone who voted! Think how many pugs that will help!

We loves our pug bloggie friends. Pug hugs and kisses to everybody!

More Celebrating!

I hopes you's not too bored from yesterday, but I wants to tell you more about my Gotcha Day. After we played with Monkey for a while we went to one of my favoritist places to eat. Jackson's!

Maggie and Layla came out to help me celebrate! They's always so sweet to me.



Mom and the peoples had lots to eat and drink. I got some of my treats that Mom bought me and my Auntie Jen brought me some more treats!



After that we went home. Me and Mom snuggled. She says I's the best thing to ever happen to her. I thinks the same thing about her! Thank you, SEPRA for finding me such a good home!

Gotcha Day Celebrations

Hey there pugs and peoples! This Saturday was my Gotcha Day!!!! Now I's been with my Mom for two whole years! Did you sees the video she made for me? It was so sweet. I almost forgot what a big year I had.

Let's see. I hads surgery on my eyes. That was pretty awful but Mom says I's even more handsome now! I gots to to go to a couple of pug rescue fundraisers (Mom dressed me up like a turtle for one of them). I gots a snowman and had a big fun Christmas exchange with my blogger friends! I wents on some Valentine's dates with my girlfriends (Hey, Pearlie-poo, Clementine, Rosie, and Pumpkin!)I gots a new toybox and it snowed in Birmingham! I turned 3 and hads a big party! Me and Mom spents lots of time together hanging out in the park and at restaurants. Me and the Midi moved! Mostly the best thing about this year was being loved by my Mom and all my friends (especially my bloggie friends!)

So, wants to know what I did on my Gotcha Day?!?

Me and the Mom gots up early and went to the Farmer's Market. Mom was too sleepy to remember her camera, so you's gonna see pics taken with her cellphone.

There was a guy there making dog bowls! He had this big spinny thing and he put a big glop of clay on it and made a bowl!



Then Mom held me down and made me put my paw in the wet bowl. Ick! But she says now it's gonna be all mine and Midi will know it's mine cause my big ol' paw print will be right there in the bottom of it!



Then Mom went and did her Saturday stuff but when she came home she brought me a big present!

It's a little early, but I'm posting a "Gotcha Day" message for my little puggie.

Harry is one of the best things that's ever happened to me. He makes me laugh every single day. He loves me unconditionally and I love him more than I knew was possible.

So, here's a little look back on his 2nd year with me.

Another Shameless Plea

Hey there pugs and peoples. I's got my paw out again. It's the final round of the SEPRA calendar contest and Mom really wants me to be in it. I's OK with being a humble little non-famous pug, but you know how Moms can be.

So, we's asking for your votes for me. I's kinda far behind right now. I's got 70 votes and the last place in the top 13 right now has 121 or so.



So, if you can spare a dollar or two I sure would appreciates it. Saturday is my Gotcha Day (2nd anniversary) and this would be a really nice gift to me and SEPRA. Mom says that without SEPRA she wouldn't has the gift of me!

Bight Lights, Big City

Hey there pugs and peoples! I's moving a little slow today. Even though last night was a "school night", Mom and me went down to Lou's Pub & Package Store. You know that's one of my favorite places to wet my whistle. Hey, Hank! One day you's gonna have to joins me. I think they might have PBR in the cooler!



Anyways, Mom's gonna save some of the pics for later, but for now I says "Hey baby!".

Grumpy Old Man

Harry's Mom here. MeiMei and Miko tagged us for the photo post. (Post photo you've never posted before and tell the story behind it). We played once and it was difficult then to find a picture we hadn't posted. Either I don't take enough pics of Harry or I let Harry post to his blog too often. Harry says it's the former.

So, we're cheating and posting a new picture (or three or four).

Everyone thinks Harry is so sweet and happy all the time. But remember, he is a pug. Once it's time for bed and all treats have been dispensed, he changes. He becomes Grumpy Old Man!



Once he gets into his pugloaf position, he has made the transformation from sweet, fun, lovable puggie to grumpy old man. No more snuggling, no more petting, no nothing. Just let him sleep. He's exhausted. Don't you know what a hard day he's had?



Bother him too much and he gives you "the eye".

Nothing can make him move.... except if I get out of the bed for any reason at all.



Then he steals my spot in the bed! Apparently my spot with all the pillows the is best spot in the bed.



Oh well. I guess the other side of the bed's not so bad. He's worth it, right?

Sunday Shopping

What an exciting weekend I hads. First it was Emmitt's birthday and that was soooo much fun! It was really nice of his Mom to let Emmitt have a party, especially after Partypalooza!!!! (What's that? She doesn't know about that?) Ahem, I mean - it was so nice of his Mom to let him haves a party even though she's heard that once a puggie becomes a teenager, they sometimes start getting too big for their bandanas. No danger of Emmitt doing that!

Mom's still trying to get the ketchup from all the meatloafs off my party bandana!

Once I got home, I noticed we were low on foods. So, I made Mom take me to the food store. They hads all these bowls there but not one of them hads the food in them!



Seriously, who ates all the food?



Hey Mom, why's I down here on the floor?



That's better. I likes riding in the buggie - I can sees everything and all the peoples can see me!

We didn't buy any toys but we gots food for me and the Midi. I also gots a special good boy treat cause I was so good at the food store.

After the food store me and Mom went to visit some friends that live on that side of town. There are little peoples who live there - one that can't even walks yet! It was lots of fun. I was kindof scared of the littles, but I also liked all the attentions. There were two dogs too! We played chase some.

Mom solved a mystery while we were there. Turns out her friend is who sent us the cool coasters we posted about a few weeks ago. Here's a reminder:



We's glad to finally be able to thank somebody!

Happy Barkday, Emmitt!!!!!

Hey there pugs and peoples. Guess what!?! It's my buddy Emmitt's barkday! He's 13 today. How excitings!

Even more excitings than that is he invited us all to his barkday party! I feels so cool to gets to hang out with a teenager! It's gonna be so much fun. I hopes he doesn't start smoking or sassing him Mom now though. I's sure he won't - cause he's the best!

To gets me ready, Mom took me to Generation Dog this morning and gots me a bath. I also has the cool party bandana on now. I's gonna be the 2nd most handsomest pug at the party (right behind Emmitt)!
