Harry's Mom here. I wanted to tell you a little story about a very big puglet. His name is Grover and he's not really a puglet - but I suspect he thinks he is.
Grover is a mastiff puppy whose littermates didn't survive and who was then rejected by his mother. Lucky for him, there was another litter due at his home. A litter of puglets. The pug mother took Grover in like he was her own and nursed him along with her pug puppies.
Harry and I went to see the pug puppies this weekend - along with Harry's newest girlfriend Libby. These are Libby's brothers (an all-boy litter), so Libby's Mom wanted to see them and I was all about going along for the ride. Who can resist puppy breath?
Harry told you about his experience - I can tell you that it wasn't easy to leave there without a puppy. I fell in love with Grover, as probably everyone does!
This story of Grover reminds me of a book I love. It's called the Ugly Pugling. Search for it on Amazon (or your bookstore of choice) - its' a wonderful story!
I think Grover will always be an honorary pug :-)

We have that book! Mom suspected he was a mastiff...he is so cute!
I think I read somewhere that pugs are related to mastiffs way back, so maybe this is not crazy at all.

Grover is so precious, the momma is still making cutsie noises!! He can be an honorary pug for as long as he wants. We will accept him with open arms!!!!!
