The mascot for the University of Geogia Bulldogs passed away at the age of 4 yesterday. This was only his second season as mascot, but he was beloved by so many fans - and people like my Mom who aren't crazy about college football but liked him for who he was, not his job.

Aww...even though I live in Auburn, and therefore, I am an Tigers fan, I can still morn for Uga's death. Only 4! Thats so younge!

Dear me, four is so young. Sometimes the concept of mascots troubles me. So much is expected of them, the crowds, noise, heat, etc...it must be stressful. Still, Uga brought alot of happiness to so many people.we will say a prayer and keep Uga in our thoughts.
