Pins and Needles

I'm so nervous... voting for the SEPRA calendar ended this afternoon and Mom and I are waiting to see if I made it or not. Thanks for everyone who voted for me. It's for a good cause even if I don't win.

I'll keep you posted.

A Vote You Can Be Proud Of

Hello Pugs! First, thanks to everyone who has voted for me in the SEPRA calendar contest. I have made it to the finals! It's now down to me and 24 other pugs (well, 23 pugs and what looks to be a puggle). There are only 13 spots in the calendar! So, I'm asking you to vote for me, Harry Pugalicious. All proceeds go to the group that rescued me - so it's definitely a vote you can be proud of.

Back With My Ladies

I am spending the weekend with my girlfriends again while their Mom & Dad go to the beach. Mom and I stayed with them last night and Mom's a little upset with me because she says I kept her up all night.

First of all, it was not ALL night. It was only around 1am or 2am. (Mom's note: try from 1am UNTIL 2am!) And then again around 5am.

Secondly, I can not help it! I'm itchy... again. Mom thinks it's cause a flea bit me. I bet she remembers to bring the stop the itching cream tonight!

Later pugs!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Yesterday started out as another really boring day. Mom left me at home ALL day and when she got home she smelled suspiciously like other dogs. To make up for this betrayal she took me to the boom! boom! boom! show.

We went to this place where Mom says she works and met up with some other people (and a few other dogs who were NOT nice to me) and all of a sudden there were all these loud noises and the air smelled like smoke. Everyone was looking at the sky so I looked up and there were bright lights all around this big man holding a spear (Mom's note: that would be Vulcan). It must have been really scary for him being so close to those loud bright things.

Anyway, here's a picture Mom found to show you. She didn't take her camera.

I had a good time. I have heard that some dogs don't like the loud noises, but as long as I'm with my mom I can handle almost anything.

That's what my mom is. Boring! I have had very little excitement the last week or so. I think I may need to be rescued again. Rescued from a life of boredom! Sigh.

This is me when I used to get to do fun things, like slay tigers.

Ok, well so we went to my girlfriends' house last weekend for a party and there were lots of people to ooh and ahh over me, but Mom made us leave early cause her knee was hurting. Paleeeeze! She needs to suck it up and let me be entertained whenever possible. I know my girlfriends probably cried the rest of the night because I was not there.

Last night she did take me to Rojo - one of my absolute favoritest restaurants. My gfs were there too. We had so much fun getting lots of attention and watching other dogs whose people brought them out. It was a rare relatively cool night in B'ham and everyone was taking advantage of it.

Mom said she gets to not work on Friday cause it's some kind of holiday. I'm just happy she'll be home but I bet we don't do ANYTHING exciting.

Snorts & Kisses,
Harry P.
